Step:

  1. Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan,add cumin seeds.When splatter,add onion and red chillies.Fry till golden.Add lentil,mix.

  2. Add bottle gourd and salt,mix well.Add 1cup water,cover and cook on low medium flame for 15-20 minutes or till done.
