Step:
Wash the mushrooms and green pepper and sliced thinly
Heat the oil in a large deep frying pan and fry the 4 to 5 minutes on a medium heat
Add the curry sauce, chicken, salt, chilies and food colouring
Turn up the heat and bring to the boil and continue cooking for about 5 minutes stirring frequently
Turn down the heat slightly and stir in the garam masala, ground Cummin and fenugreek and cook for a further 5 minutes stirring now and again
With the spoon dipped in cold water spoon off any extra oil and sprinkle with green coriander
Ingredients
50 g mushrooms
half a green pepper (capsicum)
6 tablespoons vegetable oil
425 mL the base curry sauce (see earlier recipe)
450 g chicken such as the base recipe in an earlier post
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon Chilli powder - or more as desired
1 green Chilli finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon red food colouring
1 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala (see recipe posted earlier)
1 teaspoon ground Cummin
1/2 teaspoon dried Fenugreek
1 tablespoon finely chopped Green Coriander
