Step:

  1. Heat oil and add the whole spices. Fry for a minute and then add the sliced onions. Add in the ginger garlic paste and saute on a low to medium high heat for 3-4 minutes until the onions are lightly browned.

  2. Add mint leaves and slit green chillies too. Add in the Green Peas and stir fry for a minute or two before adding 8 cups of water. Adjust salt according to taste and let the water boil.

  3. After it starts boiling vigorously, add soaked rice to it. Mix well and allow it to cook on a high heat for the first 5 minutes and then simmer on a low heat until a nice aroma emanates in your kitchen and the rice looks done.

  7. 1 small bunch Mint Leaves roughly chopped
  8. 2 Onions thinly sliced
  9. 2 cups boiled Green Peas
