Step:

  1. Take a mixing bowl put wheat flour. Add salt mix well. Now add lukewarm milk (as needed) and knead some hard dough from the regular wheat flour chapati.

  2. Apply little oil on the top of the dough and keep it covered for 15 minutes.

  3. Make smooth dough with hand and cut into equal pieces.

  4. Take one piece of dough make round shape thick Rota bread rolled with wooden roller.

  5. Heat a gas tandoor or Tava on medium heat.

  6. A little cook from both of the sides. Switch off the gas. Put Rota in the plate.

  7. Make design on the top of the hot Rota with help of thumb and finger. The design on the Rota will be made on one side.

  8. Keep a trap on the tandoor or gas stove on the recession flame and cook all the sides till it turns golden. Apply this method to prepare all Rota's.

  9. Put the Rota in the serving plate. Putting desi ghee all the sides on the top of the Rota.

  10. Delicious 'Indan Rajasthani Rota' bread is ready to serve. Hot ROTA serve with curd, sugar, dry vegetables, veggies curry, pickle, chutney and salad. Enjoy!!

Ingredients

  1. 150 gm wheat flour
  2. 1/4 tsp salt
  3. 1 tbsp oil /desi ghee (for moyan)
  4. 1/2-1 cup or as needed lukewarm milk
  5. 1-2 tbsp desi ghee for Rota
