Step:

  1. Wash and soak moth in 2 cups of water for an hour tomatoes chopped into quarters and Puree them well keep it aside

  2. Heat oil in pressure cooker add jeera and then pureed tomatoes cook for 3-4minutes

  3. Add soaked moth to saute tomato puree mix well add salt chilli powder and mix well cover the pressure cooker and cook till 2 whistles moth do not take very long time to cook

  4. Turn off the heat and let the pressure cool and mix soak tamarind pulp. and keep it aside

  5. Spread rice evenly into the serving platter or a bowl

  6. Sprinkle around spice mix over the rice and squeeze a juice of lemon

  7. Evenly spread cooked moth gravy over rice sprinkle spice mix masala, tamarind water, chopped onion and green chutney

  8. Top it off with crushed papdi serve and enjoy

  1. 1 cup Moth
  2. 3 tbsp Oil
  3. 2-3 Tamatos
  4. 1/4 tsp Cumin powder
  5. 2 tsp Red chilli powder
  6. 1 tsp Salt
  7. 2 cups Boiled rice
  8. 2 tbsp For special masala - amchur powder
  9. 1 tbsp Degi mirch
  10. 1 tbsp Dhania/coriander powder
  11. 1 tsp jeera /cumin
  12. 1 tsp Garam masala
  13. 1/2 tsp Ajwain/carom
  14. 1 tbsp For garnishing tamarind pulp
  15. 1 cup Chopped onion
  16. 4-5 Crisp papri
  17. as needed Green chutney
