Step:

  1. Wash and Soak rice, dal, fenugreek and cooked rice at least for 3 hours. Once soaked drain the water.

  2. Add little water & grind in two batches.
    Pour it into a container and add some salt and soda. Mix well.

  3. Leave this batter to ferment for overnight.
    Once the batter is fermented, mix it well.

  4. Masala Dosa:
    Heat a nonstick pan over medium heat, pour ladleful of batter & spread evenly.

  5. Drizzle some oil, cook the dosa on medium heat till it's base becomes golden brown & crisp.

  6. Apply some red chutney. Place the potato masala in the centre and fold the dosa.

  7. Plain Dosa:
    Pour ladleful of batter & spread evenly, cover and cook for a minute.

  8. Set Dosa:
    Pour ladleful of batter for each dosa & spread it little.
    Drizzle some oil & let it cook for a minute, now flip over and cook for 30 sec.

  2. 1/2 cup Urad Dal (Split black gram)
  3. 1 cup Cooked rice
  4. 1 tbsp Fenugreek Seeds (Methi)
  5. 1/2 tbsp Salt
  6. 1/4 tsp Cooking soda
  7. as needed Water
  8. Oil for cooking dosa
  9. As needed red chutney
  10. 1/2 cup Potato masala
