Step:

  1. In a large heated pan brown stew pieces in oil, add chopped garlic, onions, bay leaves, thyme, parsley, mixed herbs and saute for five minutes

  2. Add Worcestershire sauce, stock cubes, water and all chopped veg except the potatoes. Cover with water

  3. Add in seperated sausages to pot

  4. Make meatballs with salt and pepper and paprika form into golf sized balls add to pot. Gently bring to a boil to let the meatballs set, then reduce heat to a simmer.

  5. Peel and chop Ur potatoes into large chunks, add to pot and cook until potatoes are crumbling and meat is tender, the starch from the potatoes will thicken the sauce for u.

  6. Check for seasoning. Add salt and pepper if needed and serve in a bowl with fresh crusty brown bread

  5. 1 pinch salt n pepper for meatballs
  6. 1 tsp paprika for meat balls
  7. 4 bay leaves
  8. 4 beef stock cubes
  9. 1 tbsp dried thyme
  10. 1 tsp dried parsley
  11. 1 tbsp mixed herbs
  12. 1 tbsp worchestershire sauce
  13. 2 large onions
  14. 3 carrots
  15. 1 medium turnip
  16. 2 stick celery
  17. 3 clove garlic
  18. 2 lb potatoes
  19. to taste salt n pepper
  20. 3 liter water
