Step:
In a mixing bowl take the warm milk and add yeast and sugar to it and leave the yeast for 5 minutes to activate
Melt the butter, chop the garlic, grate the cheese and keep ready
After the milk turns a bit frothy, add salt, 1 tbspn garlic chopped, 1/2 tbspn oregano and mix well
Further add 20 ml melted butter and flour bit by bit to knead a soft dough (you may have to knead it for 10 minutes at least)
Punch it gently repeatedly during kneading and tuck it well in a bal shape and cover to rest for at least 2 hours
Combine the remaining butter, oregano, chilli flakes, garlic and coriander leaves in a bowl
After the dough has risen to double its size, roll it thin and oval in shape(you can spread some flour on the rolling surface before you roll the dough)
Using a pastry brush generously layer the melted butter-garlic mix ready over the dough(reserve about 1 tbspn of the mix)
Lay the grated cheese on half the dough or on either of the sides
Fold the other half covering the cheese and seal the edges using a fork or just your own fingers.
Place the dough prepared on a baking tray lined with a baking sheet.
Make gentle cut marks on the dough using a knife so that you can easily separate the pieces as you may desire after it’s baked(optional)
Using a brush once again, layer the remaining butter-garlic mix on the surface of the dough
Bake for 15 minutes at 180 degree celcius or till the bread turns golden brown and crisp on the surface
Let it cool and bit. Enjoy your garlic bread while it’s warm with your favourite meal!
