Step:

  1. Place all the ingredients in the bowl of a stand mixer and using the dough hook beat the dough for 10 minutes.

  2. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

  3. Form the cookies and place them in a baking sheet lined with greaseproof paper.

  4. Beat the egg with very little water and brush each cookie with the mixture. Bake for 20 minutes!

  1. 375 g all purpose flour
  2. 200 g margarine
  3. 125 g icing sugar
  4. 1 egg
  5. 1/2 tsp baking powder
  6. 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  7. 1 egg for brushing
