Step:
Roll out the puff pastry to about 1/4" height and use a heart shape cookie cutter and cut out the hearts. I then used a smaller heart shape cutter and marked a 'border' right in the middle
Spread some nutella in the inner heart. If you are using fresh fruit, top it with the strawberries, if you are using frozen, I thawed it out in a saucepan with a tsp of sugar. It was nice and syrupy. I carefully placed the cooked fruit in the middle of the heart. The thing with the frozen fruit is that the syrup tends to go out of the inner heart, instead of staying in place. Brush the sides with egg wash
Bake at 200C until it has full risen and puffed up. This should take about 20-30mins. While the puff pastry is cooking, heat the apricot glaze till runny
Once they are done, move the pretty hearts to a cooling tray. Paint over the strawberries and if you want to garnish, garnish with some chopped or silvered pistachios
