Step:

  1. First boil the rajma with little bit of salt and keep it aside with the water on. Now in a pan heat oil then add all the whole spices and let them splutter then add chopped onions & saute untill the onions become translucent.

  2. Now add the ginger garlic paste and saute for 2 more minutes then add all the powder & chopped green chillies.

  3. After that add the tomato puree and add some salt & cook it for around 7-8 minutes.Then add the boiled rajma with water to it and mix well & cover it up & cook for 10-15 minutes on a low to medium flame,stir occasionally.

  4. Now switch off the flame & garnish it with chopped corriandar leaves & serve it with hot steamed rice.

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup rajma or kidney beans
  2. 2 medium chopped onions
  3. 3 medium tomato puree
  4. 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  5. 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  6. 1/2 teaspoon amchur powder
  7. 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
  8. 2 chopped green chillies
  9. 3-4 green cardamoms
  10. 1 small cinnamon stick
  11. 1/4 teaspoon whole cumin seeds
  12. 1/4 cup cooking oil
  13. 1 teaspoon salt
  14. 2 cups cooked rice
