Step:

  1. Boil the quinoa and flavoring package amount in a 6qt pot of water for 20 minutes, stirring constantly and then strain. This makes the quinoa a nice edible texture. Let cool. (a chef gave me this technique for great quinoa)

  2. While the quinoa is boiling, saute the crabmeat in the butter and garlic for 3-4 minutes on medium heat. Let cool.

  3. When cooled, add the ingredients to the quinoa. Just before serving, top with lime zest. Delicious!


Ingredients

  1. 1 box Quinoa Rosemary mix (1/4-1/2 of flavor package only)
  2. 4 roma tomatoes, chopped
  3. 2 avocados, chopped
  4. 1 pinch salt
  5. 1/2 tsp pepper
  6. 2 limes, juiced (save skin for zest)
  7. splash rice vinegar
  8. 5-6 basil leaves, chopped
  9. 1-1/2 C crabmeat (I use artificial)
  10. 2 Tbsp butter (to saute crabmeat in)
  11. 2 tsp fresh minced garlic (to saute crabmeat in)
