Chocolate syrup

Put all ingredients, except chocolate in a pot and simmer for 5mins whisking constantly to dissolve the cocoa powder and sugar. It tends to boil over so ensure to keep a close watch

Remove from heat and when slightly cooled add the melted chocolate, salt, vanilla and stir. Allow to cool completely and store in the fridge

Use on your sweet treats like ice cream, milkshakes, waffles
