Step:
Put the soaked dal in a blender and using very little water grind into a smooth paste. Take this out in a bowl.
With the help of a whisk mix the batter for 8-10 mins till it's light and fluffy. Now add all ingredients like ginger, hing, salt, green chilli, coriander and curry leaves, black pepper powder, cumin seeds, baking soda and mix well.
Take a doughnut pan and grease it well with the help of a brush and put the batter in the pan using a spoon.
Put the pan in a pre heated oven and bake for around 15-20 mins till it turns golden brown.
Dunk these into a hot bowl of sambar and serve with chutney of your choice.... I have used roasted gran dal peanut chutney..... and the sambar is also oil free version.... so enjoy this guilt free snack.
