Step:

  1. Brown sausage, drain, and set aside

  2. Add tomatoes, cumin, onion, and garlic to a saucepan; simmering until onion is soft. Set aside

  3. Lightly whip eggs and stir in ricotta. Set aside

  4. Preheat oven to 350

  5. In a casserole dish, place 1/3 of tomato sauce into bottom of the dish.

  6. Add layer of noodles

  7. Add layer of sausage, chilies, 1/3 tomato sauce, and half of the Monterey Jack cheese.

  8. Add a layer of noodles

  9. Add layer of ricotta mix

  10. Add layer of noodles

  11. Add layer of last 1/3 of tomato sauce and top with remaining cheese

  12. Bake for 45 to 60 minutes

  1. 1 lb chorizo sausage
  2. 2 tbs cumin
  3. 2 cloves garlic, minced
  4. 2 large eggs
  5. 3 cups tomatoes, crushed
  6. 1 medium onion
  7. 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
  8. 1 lb Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  9. 1/2 cup green chilies, chopped
  10. 1 box lasagna noodles
