Step:

  1. Pour boiling. water over (1st) bran and let soak a few minutes

  2. Cream butter and sugar. Add in eggs and buttermilk. Mix in dry ingredients and bran from step one.

  3. Lightly stir in All Bran until just mixed.

  4. Pour into greased muffin tins and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

  5. *** I used a little less than 1/4 c batter for each muffin and only baked for 9.5 min. Yield: 36 muffins

  1. 2 c Bran (round pellet type)
  2. 2 c Boiling Water
  3. 1 1/4 c Butter
  4. 3 c Sugar
  5. 4 Eggs (beaten)
  6. 1 qt Buttermilk
  7. 5 c Flour
  8. 5 tsp Soda
  9. 1 Tbsp Salt
  10. 4 c All Bran (longer shape)
