Step:
Start with orange Mix.. cream butter and sugar together until smooth. Take zest and juice from the oranges and add to mix. Add flour and mix to a smooth paste.
Sort chocolate mix, cream butter and Sugar in a separate bowl. Add cocoa powder and eggs, mix to a smooth paste.
Half fill 24 cake cases with chocolate mix, then add orange Mix.
Partly mix the two together until swirled but not even
Cook in Gas Mark 7/ medium hot oven for 10 minutes, then swop trays for a further 10 minutes until cooked, or until a skewer Inserted comes out clean. Leave to cool.
Icing/ Frosting Mix. Mix the Icing sugar with the Cocoa Powder. Add enough water to make a smooth paste and add to top of cooled cakes.
Add two, (or more!), glacé Cherry halves to each cake, to make “ bug out eyes”, smear with a little more Icing mix and stick Edible Eyes/ Cocoanut Kisses on..
Break Matchmakers into 3 segments, poke 6 (or more), pieces In to each cake.
Serve straight away or freeze for up to six months ! Enjoy!!
