Step:
Separately from drum sticks, prepare hard boiled eggs.
Slice ginger and garlic. Place into a pot or pan. Add soy sauce, vinegar, sake and sugar. Bring to boiling.
Once boiled, add drum sticks. Place a lid directly on the drum sticks and cover the pot/pan. And cook on medium heat for 12-15 mins. Flip once in the middle of cooking.
Once cooked, let them cool to room temperature. Once cooled, reheat again. Add boiled eggs (and boiled broccoli if desired) and cook until they get the broth color evenly, for approx. 5 mins. (The flavor saturates the most when heating the food again after cooled off. If you like to eat sooner, you can skip this process.)
Tip : A lid directly over the food allows the food saturate with a minimum amount of broth and to cook evenly. (You can substitute aluminum foil. In this case, don’t forget to slid in the middle.)
Serve drum sticks and boiled eggs (cut in half) (+ broccoli) on a plate/bowl and pour broth over. Enjoy ;)
