Step:

  1. Sift flour and measure then sissy the flour salt sugar and baking powder three times

  2. To the well beaten egg yolks add milk and flour alternately

  3. Add the butter melted over hot water

  4. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites

  5. Spoon into hot waffle iron

  6. Sprinkle ham over top

Ingredients

  1. 2 cups sifted flour
  2. 3 teaspoons baking powder
  3. 2 teaspoons sugar
  4. 3 eggs
  5. 11/4 cups milk
  6. 4 tablespoons melted butter
  7. 1/2 teaspoons salt
  8. 2 tablespoons ham per waffle
