Step:

  1. Melt butter in saucepan; add cornstarch mixed with milk.

  2. Season to taste; add salmon, olives, and lemon juice. Mix well, cool.

  3. Mix biscuit dough according to directions; roll thinly into oblong shape.

  4. Spread with filling.

  5. Moisten edges of dough; roll up.

  6. Move carefully onto greased baking sheet; twist into horseshoe shape. Using kitchen scissors or sharp knife, make cuts about tw0-thirds of way into roll.

  7. Turn each section on its side so filling is exposed a little.

  8. Glaze with beaten egg or milk.

  9. Bake in preheated 450°F oven 15 to 20 minutes.

  3. 1/2 cup milk
  4. 1 can (4 oz) salmon, drained and flaked
  5. 1 tbsp chopped pimiento-stuffed green olives, optional
  6. 1 tsp lemon juice
  7. 2 cup buttermilk baking mix, prepared according to pkg. directions
  8. 1 egg or milk to glaze
