Step:

  1. Heat oven to 350

  2. In a large bowl combine corn syrup, sugar, eggs,butter, salt and vanilla; mix well.

  3. Pour filling into unbaked pie crust.

  4. Sprinkle with pecan halves.

  5. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes.

  6. Tooth pick inserted in center should come out clean.

  1. 9 " unbaked pie crust
  2. 1 cup light corn syrup
  3. 1 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
  4. 3 eggs slightly beaten
  5. 1/3 cup butter, melted
  6. 1/3 tsp salt
  7. 1 tsp vanilla
  8. 1 heaping cup pecan halves
