Step:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Cream butter and both sugars until fluffy.

  3. Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time and beat until well incorporated.

  4. Mix in flour, baking soda and salt.

  5. Stir in white chocolate chips and chopped nuts.

  6. Drop by teaspoon full on ungreased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.

  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, depending on oven.

  8. Cool for 1 minute before removing from pan.

  9. I use real unsalted butter and a good white chocolate. The real butter adds extra flavor and richness.

  10. This makes 3-4 dozen depending on size you use to make cookies. I use tablespoon.

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup butter ( 2 sticks ) softened
  2. 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  3. 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  4. 2 eggs, room temperature
  5. 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  6. 3 cup unsifted all purpose flour
  7. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  8. 1 tsp salt
  9. 2 cup white chocolate chips ( 11 oz bag )
  10. 1 1/2 cup macadamia nuts, chopped
