Step:

  1. Soften onion in large pot with alittle fat

  2. Add remaining ingredients except cabbage. Bring to boil.

  3. Lower heat, boil gently until vegs. soften (about 1 hr.).

  4. Add cabbage. Boil gently until soft. About 1 hr.

  5. Serve with crusty buttered bread.

  3. 8 Carrots, sliced
  4. 7 cups Water
  5. 4 Chicken Bullion Cubes
  6. 1 Leftover Ham, large dice
  7. 1 tsp. Thyme
  8. 1 tsp. Pepper
  9. 1 large head Cabbage, bite size chopped
