Step:

  1. break ground beef by hand I like an80/20 ground beef blend.. I use my MEAT MIX and add the pkg of meatloaf mix.

  2. the instructions on the pkg says add an egg and water. you can add broth, tomato juice, or tomato sauce. mix by hand.. and form into a loaf... cook uncovered for 30 minutes at 350°

  3. I remove the particles around the meatloaf...drain off grease....

  4. the BBQ sauce should turn dark..

  5. *** I make pan gravy, homemade mashed potatoes, and sweet peas..

  6. mix glaze while meatloaf was cooking..... put glaze ontop of meatloaf ... and put back in oven turn.... leave uncovered... bake for about 15 minutes


Ingredients

  1. 1 envelope Marcrum meatloaf mix (SAVE A LOT brand)
  2. 3/4 cup water
  3. 1 egg
  4. 1/2 bell pepper, chopped
  5. 1 small onion
  6. tsp salt
  7. 1 tsp pepper
  8. 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  9. 1 *** as i said, gotta cook quick so I use a mix, but add seasoning to keep it tasting home made.
  10. 1 **** the recipe for the meat mix can be found on my profile.
  11. GLAZE
  12. 1/4 cup ketchup
  13. 2 1/2 tbsp honey
  14. 2 tbsp brown sugar, packed
  15. 1 tbsp mustard
