Step:

  1. MARINADE: marinade the Beef with Fish Sauce for 30 minutes or more.

  2. STIR FRY: heat 2 Tbsp of Cooking Oil until hot. Fry the Paste until​ the oil separates. Then add the Beef and mix well. When the Beef has turned color, add the Sauces and mix well. Then turn off the heat.

  3. BASIL: add the Basil and mix well. The Basil will wilt from the residual heat. Serve with Cooked Rice and Fried Egg.

  1. 400 g Beef or Chicken (grounded, minced or diced)
  2. 100 g Basil Leaves
  3. [Marinade]
  4. 1 Tbsp Fish Sauce
  5. [Paste] - blend or pounded
  6. 10-20 g Bird's Eye Chilli
  7. 20 g Garlic
  8. 40 g Shallots
  9. [Sauce]
  10. 1 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce
  11. 1 Tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
  12. 1 tsp Oyster Sauce
  13. Optional, 2 tsp Palm Sugar
