Step:

  1. Place the paneer cubes in a bowl of boiling water. This helps your store bought paneer soften and removes any purities that might be frozen

  2. Heat some oil in a skillet and saute the onions, green chillies, garlic cloves and the ginger until the onions are soft. Sprinkle some salt and set side for a couple of minutes to cool down. Transfer the onion mix to a blender and blitz until it is a smooth paste

  3. Heat the butter in the same skillet and add the onion paste. Cook this until the butter seperates. Then add the spices and the tomato puree and cook for about 10mins until the raw smell of the puree and the spice disappears. Add sugar and continue to cook for 5mins. If needed add some salt

  4. Finally, add the paneer cubes and toss gently and cook for another 3mins until the paneer absorbs the flavours. Lower the heat and add the cream and mix well

  5. Serve hot with some rotis or rice

  3. 3/4 cup Tomato Puree -
  4. 3 Green chillies -
  5. 4 cloves Garlic - diced
  6. 2 inchs Ginger - , peeled and chopped
  7. 3 tbsps Butter -
  8. 1 tsp Tumeric Powder -
  9. 1 tsp Cumin Coriander - powder -
  10. 1 tsp Masala Tandoori -
  11. 1 tsp Sugar -
  12. 1/4 cup Cream -
  13. Oil
  14. to taste Salt
