Step:

  1. Heat small/medium pot over med-high heat.

  2. Add beef and seasonings. Brown meat.

  3. Add lemon and lime juice, taco sauce and water to beef.

  4. Bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for at least one hour, adding water as liquid gets lower than the meat.

Ingredients

  1. 1.5 lbs chuck roast small cubes
  2. 1 taco season packet
  3. 1 TBS garlic powder
  4. 2 tsp salt
  5. 2 tsp black pepper
  6. 1 lemon juiced
  7. 1 lime juiced
  8. 2 tsp dried basil
  9. .25 cup taco sauce
  10. 2 cups water + more as needed
