Step:

  1. Cream together shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy.

  2. Thouroghly stir together flour, salt and bakingsoda.

  3. Mix Step 2 into Step1. Blend well and stir in chocolate chips.

  4. Roll into small balls about 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. bake at 325 degrees. Immediatley remove from cookie sheet to cool.

  1. 1 cup Shortening
  2. 1 cup Sugar
  3. (4) 1/4 cups of Brown Sugar
  4. 2 Eggs
  5. 2 teaspoons Vanilla
  6. 2 cups Flour
  7. 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  8. 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  9. 12 oz semisweet chocolate chips
