Step:

  1. In a heavy base pot, combine all the ingredients (excluding corrinander) and simmer on medium to high heat for 1.5 hours. Stirring occasionally. Only add water if stew is burning or low.

  2. 1 minute before serving add the coriander leave and stir in. Turn the cooker off and serve

  3. Serve with rice and vegetables.

  1. 1 kg beef shank
  2. 1 chopped onion
  3. 1 chopped red bell pepper
  4. 1 chopped yellow bell pepper
  5. 2 chopped large tomatoes
  6. 5 garlic cloves, crushed
  7. 2 tsp hot curry powder
  8. 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  9. 1 tsp paprika
  10. 1 tsp clove powder
  11. 1 tsp steak & chops seasoning
  12. 1 tsp sugar
  13. 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
  14. 1 stock cube
  15. Salt and pepper
  16. handful coriander leaves
