Step:

  1. Cut potatoes into cubes

  2. Cut onion into cubes

  3. Cook onions til brown in the pot

  4. Add water, broth and potatoes to pot with onions

  5. Pop a lid on the pot and boil til the potatoes are soft

  6. Add cream and lower heat

  7. Add salt to taste and stir

  8. Serve in a bowl with toppings of choice. Cheese, bacon, or chives.
