Step:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add the ingredients. Roast until golden brown.

  2. Take a paniyaram pan and coat with sesame oil to make it non- stick..

  3. Add the sautd ingredients to the leftover idli/dosa batter. Mix well. Pour into paniyaram pan and fill up 3/4th the pan. Let it heat.

  4. When the edges start to turn golden; flip the paniyarams and let them con on the other side too for avoid 4 minutes.

  5. Once done, serve with sambar and/ or chutney.

  1. 1.5 cup leftover fermented batter (idli/dosa)
  2. Saut
  3. 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  4. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  5. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  6. 1 inch piece ginger deskinned and grated
  7. Urad dal optional
  8. Chana dal optional
  9. Curry leaves 1 sprig
  10. 1/4 cup Cilantro
  11. 2 Green chillies chopped
  12. 2 tablespoons Coconut flakes
  13. 1 tsp black pepper crushed
