Step:

  1. Mix wet bread ingredients together, then gradually add in dry. Knead well.

  2. Cover and let rise 1 hour 30 minutes until doubled.

  3. Divide into approx 40g portions and roll with a piece of cheese inside, approx 4 inches long and 0.5 inches wide and tall

  4. Let rise 30 minutes. Apply egg wash.

  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 190 degrees Celsius for 20-25 minutes.

  6. Cool slightly, then top with softened butter and sprinkle or dip the tops in granulated sugar

  13. Granulated sugar, for topping
  14. Cheese, for filling
  15. 1 egg
  16. 1 tbsp water
