Step:

  1. Make cake mix according to box. Divide in half.

  2. Cook 1/2 cake batter at 350 for 15 mins. Let cool.

  3. Melt caramel, butter, and milk.

  4. Pour over cooked cake.

  5. Add chocolate chips over caramel

  6. Pour rest of cake batter over chocolate chips

  7. Bake 350 for 30 mins

  8. Let cool and serve with cool whip on top.

  2. 1 lb caramel
  3. 1 stick butter
  4. 1 small can evaporated milk
  5. 6 oz chocolate chips
  6. Walnuts - optional
  7. 1 container cool whip
