Divide dough in half. Roll each half into 8×4 inch rectangle. Cover; let stand 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, in medium skillet, saute sausage and onion over medium heat until browned; drain. Roll each dough half into 12×8 inch rectangle. Spread 1/2 of sausage mixture and 1/2 cup cheddar evenly onto each loaf. Roll up jelly roll fashion; seal ends. Spray each loaf with nonstick cooking spray.
Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 15×10×1 inch baking pan witb nonstick cooking spray. Let loaves rise in warm place, away from drafts, until doubled, about 1 hour. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until bread is browned and sounds hollow when tapped. Let cool 5 minutes. Remove loaves to wire racks. Slice; serve at room temperature or reheated in oven.
