Step:

  1. Clean and assemble all your ingredients.

  2. Dice them accordingly.

  3. For butternuts i dint remove the seeds as i understand they have nutritional value so i cooked with them...

  4. In a sufuria, add some cooking oil n heat abit.

  5. Add all onions i.e Red, White n springs.

  6. Brown the onions n add some salt.

  7. Add celery, garlic n ginger n mix well till they all incorporate.

  10. Cover n allow to cook on low heat for 10 mins.

  11. Add 2.5 cups of water n continue cooking.

  15. Put off the heat, cool them abit then mash, blend or whisk. Blending is the better option as u tend to blend everything but if have no blender, look for an alternative. I whisked mine n it went on well..

  18. Return the soup in another clean sufuria, heat abit, add 1 tsp or 1 satchet of black pepper n check on the salt.

  19. Work on the bread or bread rolls to go with the soup. i did toasted bread. pre heat your toaster.

  20. Generously apply margarine on 2 slices of bread.

  21. Toast till brown. once brown, set aside..

  1. 2 medium pcs of butter nut or 1 big size
  2. 1 large onion
  3. 1 medium white onion
  4. 2 pcs spring onions
  5. 2.5 cups water
  6. 2 pcs celery
  7. 1 bunch dhania
  8. 1 tbsp cooking oil
  9. 1 tbsp butter or margarine
  10. 1 sachet black pepper
  11. to taste salt
  12. 2 tbsps cooking cream
