Step:
Crush the Marie biscuits with a belan to make coarse powder
In a kadhai, heat the water and sugar to make sugar syrup having a 'single string' consistency I.e. when tested between the thumb and forefinger, the syrup should form a single string.
Switch off the flame. Now, add the powdered Marie biscuits to the syrup along with the butter, 2 tablespoons of dry coconut powder and milk powder.
Mix the ingredients well to form a sticky but dry mixture of the ingredients. You are now ready to make the pedas.
Separate a small portion of the mixture within the kadhai itself and sprinkle a little milk into it to make it sticky. Take a lemon-sized portion and pat it into a peda.
Repeat this process to make pedas from the mixture. You may need to wet your palms with water from time to time so that the peda does not stick to your palms. Your biscuit pedas are ready!
