Step:

  1. To slice Beef very thinly, I recommend to half-freeze it first. This will make the slicing much easier. You can try to slice it as thinly as you can.

  2. Drain Itokonnyaku/Shirataki. Cut into 5cm length.

  3. Heat Oil in a frying pan over medium high heat, cook Beef, Onion and Ginger. When the beef changed colour, add Itokonnyaku, Sugar, Mirin and Soy Sauce.

  4. Cook, occasionally stirring, for 10 to 15 minutes or until the liquid is almost gone.

Ingredients

  1. 400-500 g Beef
  2. 1 Onion *thinly sliced
  3. 2 packets (*about360g) Itokonnyaku/Shirataki
  4. 1 thumb-size piece Fresh Ginger *thinly sliced to strips
  5. 1 tablespoon Oil
  6. 2-3 tablespoons Mirin
  7. 2 tablespoons Sugar
  8. 4 tablespoons Soy Sauce
