Step:

  1. Pound goond coarsely if they are big but not powdered, then fry them in ghee, keep aside....
    in the same ghee roast flour and sooji till pinkish brown colour and aroma arises, add jaggery, stir until it melts....
    add evaporated milk, mawa do not dry it then add nutmeg and cardamon powder mix well then remuv from flame.

  2. Add fried goond mix well then pour on tray....
    Use flat back of steel bowl to level the goondpaak....
    sprinkle almonds, pistas, poppy seeds and fennel seeds press with the bowl..

  3. Cut squares and let it cool down, remove squares and keep in airtight container


Ingredients

  1. 2 cups Ghee
  2. 3 cups Wholemeal Flour
  3. 1/2 cup Semolina
  4. 1 cup Goond (Tragacanth Gum)
  5. 1 cup Mawa (Khoya)
  6. 1/2 cup Evaporated Milk
  7. 1 tsp Elaichi (Cardamon powder)
  8. 1 tsp Zaiphul (Nutmeg) powder
  9. 1 tsp Soonth (Dry Ginger) powder o Kantlo
  10. 2 cups Jaggery
  11. For decorating:
  12. handful almonds (flakes)
  13. 1 tsp khuskhus (poppy seeds)
  14. 1 tbsp wariari/saunpf (fennel seeds)
  15. few pistachios (flakes)
