Step:

  1. Preheat your waffle iron while you make the batter.

  2. Mix dry ingredients (A) then sift.

  3. Mix wet ingredients (B) exept butter then pour into dry ingredients. Add melted butter then mix well.

  4. Use a spoon to scoop batter into the waffle iron, lightly greased if your iron requires it. Cook as directed by your machine.

  5. Serve immediately with maple syrup, ice cream or fruits.

  1. A. 1-3/4 cups all purpose flour
  2. 2 tbsp cornstarch
  3. 2 tsp baking powder
  4. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  5. 1/4 tsp salt
  6. 1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  7. 1/4 cup sugar
  8. 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  9. 3/4 cup pumpkin puree
  10. B. 3/4 cup buttermilk
  11. 1 tsp vanilla extract
  12. 2 large eggs
  13. 1/3 cup butter, melted and cooled
