Step:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit

  2. Mix all the ingredients except the 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar and the bacon.

  3. Pour into a cast iron skillet or 9x13 baking pan.

  4. Chop the bacon into small pieces.

  5. Place over the top of the bean mixture. Cover all the surface area with the bacon.

  6. Then sprinkle the dark brown sugar over the top of the bacon and beans.

  7. Bake in the oven 45 minutes till bacon is done.

  1. 2 quarts baked beans
  2. 2-1/2 tablespoons Heinz Tomato Ketchup
  3. 1/3 cup dehydrated minced onion
  4. 2 teaspoon yellow prepared mustard usually Plochman's or French'
  5. 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar
  6. 1/2 pound sliced smoked bacon
  7. 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar to sprinkle on top
