Step:
First wash the lentils with water well and keep it in the side
Wash the spinach thoroughly and cut it finely. Make the paste of ginger and garlic.
Put pressure cooker on gas and put oil in it.
After this put cumin and bay leaves in it
When cumin seeds and bay leaves become light red, add chopped green chilli in it and fry it lightly. After this add chopped onion in it.
When the onion becomes light red add ginger garlic paste in it and fry it lightly.
After this, add chopped tomatoes and fry it well.
After this add turmeric powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder, cinnamon powder and red chilli powder in it. Fry all the spices well.
After this add chopped spinach in it, add little bit salt and saute with a spoon.
Cover the pressure cooker with lid and cook the spinach for 3 to 4 minutes on medium flame.
After this add red lentils in it and saute with a spoon.
Add 3 to 4cup of water in it,add salt as per the test and close the pressure cooker with it's lid.
After 2 whistles open the lid of the pressure cooker. Our dal palak is ready.
Now it's turn to make tadka for the dal palak.Heat oil in a pan, First put mustard in it.Then add chopped garlic in it. After this add green chilli and let it be light red.
Keep the half tadaka in the pulse and mix it with spoon. Take out the dal palak in a bowl and put half of the remaining tadaka on top of the dal.Our yummy dal palak tadaka is ready. Enjoy it with rice or roti.
