Step:

  1. combine ingredients and form into 1 inch balls.

  2. place on ungreased cookie sheet

  3. ..,,..flatten with bottom of glass dipped into sugar

  4. GLAZE 1 cup.....or 6 oz. semi sweet chocolate chips, one fourth cup Crisco, 3 tablespoon light corn syrup

  5. dip cooled cookies half way into chocolate mixture just to coat

  6. place cookies on waxed paper.

  2. 3/4 cup softened butter
  3. 1/2 tsp vanilla
  4. 1/2 tsp orange extract
  5. 1 egg
  6. 2 cup flour
  7. 1 tsp baking powder
  8. 3/4 tsp salt
  9. 2 tbsp grated orange peel
