Step:

  1. heat in pan no oil the carrots low heat 5 minutes stirring occasionally

  2. in a sauce pan add all the ingredients for teriyaki saucecook on high heat for 7 minutes

  3. mix cornstarch solution add to teriyaki sauce to thicken stir continuously

  4. add to carrots let simmer 7 minutes

Ingredients

  1. carrots
  2. 1 lb carrots cut on diagonal eighth of an inch thick
  3. 1 pinch salt
  4. teriyaki sauce
  5. 1/3 cup Shaoxing wine
  6. 1/3 cup soya sauce (lite)
  7. 1/4 cup sugar
  8. 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  9. thickening solution
  10. 1/4 cup water
  11. 1 tbsp cornstarch
