Step:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, cornstarch, and salt.

  2. In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat butter, cream cheese and sugars until light and creamy, about 2 minutes.

  3. Add in vanilla and eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

  4. Gradually beat in the dry mixture, then stir in the chocolate chips.

  5. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 2 but no more than 72 hours.

  6. When ready to bake, take dough out of fridge to get it to a scoopable consistency. Preheat oven to 350 and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

  7. Divide dough into 2 tablespoon sized balls, and bake 10 minutes or until light golden brown.

  4. 2 tbsp corn starch
  5. 1 tsp salt
  6. 1 1/2 stick unsalted butter, room temperature
  7. 1/4 cup cream cheese, room temperature
  8. 1 1/4 cup brown sugar
  9. 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  10. 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  11. 2 eggs, room temperature
  12. 2 cup chocolate chips, 60% cocoa
