Step:

  1. Combine potatoes, water, 1/2 cup of the milk and salt in large saucepan. Bring to boiling. Lower heat and simmer, uncovered, until potatoes are tender, about 8 mnutes.

  2. Add mixed vegetables; cover and remove from heat; reserve.

  3. Saute onion in butter in med-size saucepan until softened, about 2 min.

  4. Stir in flour; cook 1 minute, stirring.

  5. Add remaining milk; cook, stirring, until smooth and thickened, about 5 minutes.

  6. Add to potato mixture in large saucepan. Bring gently to boiling.

  7. Lower heat. Add salmon, Worcestershire, lemon juice and red pepper sauce.

  8. Stir until heated through.

  1. 4 medium potatoes (1-1/4 lbs), pared and cut into 1/2" dice
  2. 1 3/4 cup water
  3. 2 cup milk
  4. 1/2 tsp salt
  5. 1 packages (10 oz) frozen peas and carrots
  6. 1 small onion, finely chopped
  7. 2 tbsp butter
  8. 1 tbsp flour
  9. 1 can (15 oz) salmon, drained, skin and bones removed
  10. 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  11. 2 tsp lemon juice
  12. 4 drops liquid red pepper seasoning
