  1. beat butter at medium speed until creamy, about 3 minutes. reduce speed to low & gradually add powdered sugar, vanilla & salt. beat until blended, then add candies. beat another 5 minutes, until mixture is smooth

  2. makes enough for 2 dozen cupcakes
