Step:

  1. Bring water to a boil.

  4. Slice the ginger thinly and dump it in the boiling water.

  5. Pour the honey into a mug. Place a strainer over the mug and juice the lemon through the strainer.

  6. Taste the simmering ginger water. If it's not strong enough for you, add some more ginger and simmer a bit longer.

  7. When you're happy with the ginger flavor, pour the water through the strainer and into the mug.

  8. Stir and taste. Add a little honey or lemon if you like, or add some water to mellow it out.

  9. Wrap up in a blanket and get some rest. Alternatively, get your station together so we can get this over with and go get a real drink.
