Step:

  1. Blend the first 12 ingredients together until fluffy

  2. Scoop a tablespoon full on to a parchment paper covered baking sheet for each cookie

  3. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 min

  4. For the glaze melt the butter and mix with the milk and powdered sugar and stir or blend until smooth.

  5. Let the cookies cool then drizzle the glaze on them. Then let them set for awhile.

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cup shortening
  2. 1 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  3. 1 tsp salt
  4. 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  5. 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  6. 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  7. 1 egg
  8. 2 cup all-purpose flour
  9. 1 tsp baking soda
  10. 1/4 cup milk
  11. 2 cup finely chopped or grated raw apple. ( I like grated granny smith apple)
  12. 1 cup chopped pecans
  13. 1 for the glaze
  14. 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  15. 3 tbsp milk
  16. 2 cup powdered sugar
