Step:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine poppy seeds and water.

  2. Add cake and pudding mixes, eggs and oil.

  3. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.

  4. Stir in pecans.

  5. Pour into 2 greased 8 X 4 X 2 inch loaf pans.

  6. Bake at 350°F for 45 to 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.

  7. Cool for 10 minutes.

  8. Remove from pans to wire racks to cool completely.

  1. 2 tbsp poppy seeds
  2. 1 cup hot water
  3. 4 eggs
  4. 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  5. 1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted
  6. 1 packages (18 1/4 ounces) yellow cake mix
  7. 1 packages (3.4 ounces) instant coconut cream or lemon pudding mix
