Step:
Combine all ingredients in a heavy saucepan and bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat and simmer the sauce for 5 minutes.
Let cool to room temperature.
Transfer to a spray bottle and use right away or refrigerate.
Use within 1 or 2 days of making.
*This recipe makes about 4 1/2 cups which should be enough for about 4 pounds of meat.*
**If you don't want to use a spray bottle, you can use a basting brush or mop.**
***This tastes great on roasted or smoked meat, and is recommended for use on chicken or ribs.***
****If you use it in chicken or ribs, apply every 30 minutes, but when using on pork shoulder or brisket, apply every hour.****
